Our 30-day return policy

You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days after receiving your order. For this voluntary policy, the item must be unused, unassembled, complete and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. These voluntary conditions do not limit legal cancellation rights or remedies for faulty, misdescribed or damaged goods.

How to request a return

Contact support@selbornecommercecraft.com with your order number, the item and the reason for your request. We will provide return instructions and the correct return destination. Please do not send a parcel to the company address without instructions; it may not be the appropriate receiving location.

For a change-of-mind return under our voluntary policy, the customer pays the direct cost of return shipping. Furniture can be expensive to return because of its size and weight. Request the carrier cost before sending it. No restocking fee applies to an eligible return under this policy.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Tell us if a product arrives damaged, is faulty or does not match your order. We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate repair, replacement or refund in line with your legal rights. We cover reasonable return shipping when the issue is our responsibility. You do not need to meet the unused or original-packaging conditions to exercise statutory remedies for a fault.

Refunds

For an approved voluntary return, we refund the returned item price to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving and inspecting it. Original delivery charges are not refunded for voluntary change-of-mind returns unless required by law. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.

EEA distance-selling rights

Where EEA consumer distance-selling rules apply, you may withdraw from an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Tell us by a clear statement before the deadline, then send the goods back within 14 days of that notification. You can use the withdrawal statement below, but it is not mandatory.

We reimburse the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery within 14 days of being informed of withdrawal. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return where permitted by law. For bulky furniture, request a destination-specific return freight estimate before buying. You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop; you may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original packaging is recommended for safe transport and is not a condition of the statutory withdrawal right.

Guarantees and mandatory protections

No additional commercial manufacturer or seller warranty is promised unless stated for the specific product. This does not exclude or reduce mandatory rights. Where EU consumer rules apply, new goods generally carry a minimum two-year legal conformity guarantee, and national law may provide longer protection. Other jurisdictions may also provide non-excludable consumer remedies. Contact us about any lack of conformity or fault.
